Tallahassee, Fla. - Get ready to celebrate a very special Valentine's Day! Florida Health is proud to announce the launch of the first of many social media contests through the department’s Facebook page. The first contest is a Healthy Valentine’s Day photo contest, in which participants are asked to send in their photos no later than Mon., Feb. 15 showing the planning or celebration of Valentine’s Day in a healthy way.  

To get started with the contest, download a copy of the contest rules and view the full contest description on Florida Health’s Facebook page.  After submitting a photo, contributors can vote for their favorite entry by liking the photo in the Facebook album. The submission with the most likes will win a 4-pack of Florida State Parks day passes. The winner will be announced on Monday, Feb. 22.  So go ahead, have a healthy dinner, eat some dark chocolate and then go for a walk. And while you’re at it, take a photo and then share with Florida Health. Your healthy living photo today can inspire healthy living tomorrow!
