The Department offers at least three exams per year. The exams are given at different locations throughout Florida. Proposed dates and locations are subject to change. Once an exam is scheduled, it will be offered unless canceled due to lack of demand.
The application deadline for any exam date is one week prior to the exam, so that we can process and approve your application. This will also allow time for you to review the training materials to study for the exam.

To become certified your certification application must be approved by this office, and you must attend a Florida approved training course prior to taking the exam. Additionally, applicants must register with the Department of Health Radon Program to take the exam. Please contact one of our approved training providers to register for upcoming radon courses and ask about their fees. Be sure to attend the same training course for the certification category you select on your application form DH1751.
