Living in Florida, natural and manmade disasters are a common occurrence. With a career in health and medical emergency preparedness, you will have the opportunity to coordinate and assist in the preparation, response, recovery and mitigation of events that could impact public health and have potential medical consequences. Working together with community partners across the state, you will help build upon a continuum of care model that strengthens Florida’s health care system and assist in responding to incidents that impact Florida.
