TALLAHASSEE—The Division of Medical Quality Assurance (MQA) with the Florida Department of Health announces the launch of an updated, interactive website to better communicate with its customers. The new website serves as MQA’s service portal for licensing and enforcement information. It also displays a prominent rotating banner, informing consumers of on-going projects while providing streamlined access to its most frequently used features.
“MQA strives to become the leader in health care quality regulation,” said MQA Division Director Lucy Gee. “The website redesign serves as another example of how MQA remains committed to serving the people of Florida.”
The new user-driven layout provides access to several valuable resources such as provider services, consumer services and continuing education. The site also has a renewal calendar allowing licensees to stay up to date on the latest license renewal process.
For more information, please visit www.FlHealthSource.gov. Working in conjunction with 22 boards and eight councils, MQA licenses and regulates seven types of facilities and 200-plus license types in more than 40 health care professions.
The department works to protect, promote and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county and community efforts.
