An initial IFSP will be completed for all eligible children and their families within 45 calendar days after the referral has been received by the local Early Steps. The IFSP is a plan of supports and services that is based on assessment information, the priorities and concerns of the child and family, and is developed by the IFSP Team (which includes the family). The initial IFSP meeting includes the service coordinator; the parents; other family members, advocate(s) or person(s) outside the family, as requested by the parent(s) ; professionals who have provided evaluations and/or assessment to the child; and person(s) who are or will be providing services to the child or family, as appropriate.
